Ready for winter?
By Heather
Before nasty ice dams form in your gutters, take a few minutes to learn about prepping your house for the cold.
Back in September, I wrote a fall cleaning checklist, and now we’re here to demonstrate how the tasks are done. Whitney and I climbed up a ladder or two to clean gutters and change smoke alarm batteries. We also got our hands dirty by cleaning furnace filters and checking the weather stripping around Whitney’s doors and windows.
All the prep work you can do before winter storms hit can save you later.
